Deepika, Alia and Priyanka are obsessed with round sunglasses

Framed round sunglasses with half-gold rim Round cat-eyes Thick black frame with a gold bridge and arms Gold rim round sunnies Red-tint mirror effect The classic round v/s the reflector Malaika has been rocking these oversized round reflectors with a slim frame. Linda Farrow has a pair that we love. Alia Bhatt's been rocking these oversized frameless sunglasses with a high shine reflect. Victoria Beckham has a pair of these mirror sunnies but you can get the same design on the low at ebay.in . Malaika Arora has been on a serious Gucci shopping spree and we love her latest purchase: these round sunnies. The sunglasses have text around the lens in French that loosely translates to," Blinded by love", love for this unique pair no doubt. Priyanka Chopra is reigning queen when it comes to eyewear. PC has more UV protection for her eyes than any other celebrity out there. And she doesn't just experiment with shape, this round pair features a half-gold trim around its black frame. The closest we could find are a Garret Leight Seville Sun pair . Prada also makes a version. For those of you who aren't quite ready to go all the way round, Amrita Arora may have found a winged solution. A round lens with a cat-eye extension. The lens maintains its round shape but the cat-eye helps adapt it for those who don't feel they can pull off this retro look. No doubt Amrita picked her pair up from Fendi . These uber big sunglasses are perfect for a hangover day. They won't just block out the sun, they'll also hide your lack of sleep. We're loving the Vint and York 'Moll' version which, thanks to a thick black frames, lends the pair a super retro look. But if you can't get your hands on those, Vincent Chase makes a similar design for men which look just as great. Seriously, how does one get to raid Priyanka Chopra's eyewear closet? Tom Ford makes our dream pair but until we can tick them off our wish list, we might have to settle for these . Anushka Sharma also seems to be a fan of round sunglasses, sporting hers in tortoiseshell with a gold bridge and arms. Linda Farrow seems to be experimenting with round eyewear and we're here for it. If you're tired of alternating between silver and gold reflectors, you may want to make a red-hot statement in these. The tinted sunglasses seem to be Shilpa Shetty's favourite. Ray-Ban makes a shade in red that would make the devil trade his soul. But if that's not your thing, you could go for this rose-gold version. Trust Deepika to opt for the classic round shape with a dark lens and gold frame. We love that she's paired her sunnies with big round gold hoops that kind of make it look like she has a circle theme going on. For a classic shape, you best bet Ray-Ban knows their stuff. Alia, however, has stuck with her trusty reflectors. But if you want as many pairs as these ladies, you're going to have to budget, so maybe try this pair. Can you spot all the Bollywood stars in Arjun Kapoor's throwback photo?

Can you spot all the Bollywood stars in Arjun Kapoor's throwback photo? The IIFA awards are basically a Kapoor family reunion By Elle Team November 14, 2017 SHARE It's no secret that the Kapoors are the reigning family of Bollywood. With nearly all family members ranging across four generations in the film industry, one could argue that it's only one name that dominates the screen. But while not all of them share the star-studded surname, they do share blood, unmistakeable facial features and acting chops. So when the credits start rolling you best believe that the roster of names looks more like Raj Kapoor's family tree than anything else. With the lineage that goes back to the silver screen's golden years, the generations of actors have spent enough time around each other to be one big, happy, Bollywood family. Seriously, it's like Hum Saath Saath Hai was inspired by their family lunches. Arjun Kapoor just uploaded a photo of one such occasion, which brought his entire generation of actors together. And we can't help but try and spot who in the frame got famous. That's Ranbir Kapoor pulling bunny ears over an adolescent Arjun Kapoor's head. Sonam Kapoor is trying to get her younger brother Harshvardhan to smile for the camera. Could that be Rhea Kapoor wearing glasses and close cropped hair? Armaan Jain is looking confused as to why he has been made to pose for this photograph. Anshula Kapoor, Arjun's younger sister. We think the baby looking away is Armaan's brother Aadar, again the Kapoor features are discernible even when they're infants. Apparently Mohit Marwah is also pictured but it's anyone's guess where he fits in. We hope they all get together and recreate this picture just so we have a better idea of who's who. Or, you know... make their lives one big Kapoor movie star caster.

Priyanka Chopra and Malaika Arora show you how to wear the glossy trend

Winnie Harlow Image: Instagram.com/winnieharlow Every now and then, a trend comes by that’s not easy to pull off. Wake up from your haze of athleisure to try the new gloss super trend that celebrities are channeling. We’ll admit, wearing leather is not for everyone but if you manage to pull it off, your Instagrams will definitely cause certain envy. Malaika Arora recently wore a vinyl tube for a night out and while the actual use of vinyl in her outfit was small, she managed to achieve the desired effect by keeping the rest of the look neutral yet sharp. Priyanka Chopra, who is known to favour leather accents, also wore an all-leather dress for a studio visit. While head-to-toe leather is probably not advisable in a normal office environment, it’s an interesting look to try for an evening out. If you are still not game for a full gloss look, do it in small doses. Try a patent mini like Chiarra Ferragni or a jacket like Alexa Chung. Winnie Harlow’s lace-up leggings are not for the faint of heart but are sure to leave a mark. If you are still hesitant to go high shine, try a pair of vinyl boots for size. But if really want to make an investment in the trend, pick up a practical separate like vinyl trousers, a mini skirt or a jacket to see your look through. Scroll through our gallery of the best high shine separates to invest in this season. 1 /14

Sonam Kapoor’s guide to acing ethnic wear this wedding season

Sonam Kapoor Image: Instagram.com/sonamkapoor You don’t need us to tell you that our November cover girl Sonam Kapoor is as bona fide a style star as they come. But in case you did, consider this that newsflash. From walking the runway at Paris Couture Week for designer duo Ralph & Russo to having the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Elie Saab tailor-make gowns for her, the fashionable life of Ms Kapoor is enviable indeed. Add to that her extensive selection of ensembles by sought-after couturiers (incidentally, also her friends) Anamika Khanna and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, her own fashion line Rheson, and her all-round 10/10 wardrobe, and there’s no denying the fact that Kapoor can easily dethrone Blair Waldorf as the ultimate ‘dictator of taste’. The actor’s trendsetter status has never up for debate, and it is her traditional looks that have always had a particularly far-reaching impact. So if it’s wedding season inspiration you were seeking, one look at her repertoire will do the trick. The sari never fails to win Kapoor’s favour—choose a contemporary cropped palazzo sari like her Masaba number for your bestie’s nuptials in Bali or mix it up by swapping the same ol’ blouse with a white shirt. Demonstrating that the blouse is the easiest way to upgrade your six-yard drape, the style maven is often seen experimenting with styles like off-shoulders, cold shoulder cut-outs, fringed blouses or printed tops. Follow in her fashionable footsteps for a winning engagement party look. If a family wedding is on the cards, consider it your license to go all-out in ornate ensembles and heavy jewellery to match. Lehenga sets (Kapoor makes a strong case for classic white and gold ones) work best for the sangeet and pheras while mehandis are your playground to experiment with dramatic drapes. Sonam Kapoor also showcases the need to cultivate variety in a wedding wardrobe by way of her outfits from a recent wedding she attended in London. Keep it traditional in a Lucknowi or mirror work anarkali for the sangeet and then do a 180 by sporting a voluminous jacquard skirt with a turtleneck sweater and polki necklace for the reception. End result? The ‘coolest girl at the wedding’ title is bound to be yours. Scroll through our slideshow to borrow from Sonam Kapoor’s top ethnic wear looks. Anti-pollution skincare is even more important now. Here’s why

Anti-pollution skincare is even more important now. Here’s why

YOU HAVE READ OF 10 STORIES THIS MONTH 30 day free access to digital issues worth INR 400 Get it now ! Image: Chris Craymer There are a host of issues plaguing our delicate skin. From sun damage to stress, from allergies to breakouts—there’s always something up with your skin and you probably find yourself flying into damage control mode on a weekly basis. To make matters worse, add one more problem to this list: environmental pollution. It’s definitely a concern and that means your skincare routine must at all times try to accommodate ways to tackle this concern. Yes, just slathering on sunscreen doesn’t automatically resolve all the issues the polluted city throws at you. How does air pollution affect your skin? “Air pollution such as particulate matters, volatile organic compounds, ultraviolet radiation, ozone rays and cigarette smoke directly affects the outer barrier of the body, which is the skin. They are known to induce oxidative stress and contribute to extrinsic ageing, pigmented spots and dry and dehydrated skin,” says Dr Batul Patel, medical director and dermatologist, The Bombay Skin Clinic. The smog also induces free radical formation and reduces the level of antioxidants in the skin such as vitamin E, ascorbic acid and vitamin C. “It also leads to the reduced barrier function of the skin and hence increased cases of eczema, atopic dermatitis, skin sensitivity, and redness. It also causes clogging up of the pores and build-up of dead skin cells leading to acne and dull-looking skin,” adds Dr Patel. Plus, pollution can also increase the skin’s stress levels which causes destruction of collagen. How do you deal with pollution and its effects on the skin? Not all of us have the option of retiring to the countryside and living it up at spas every day. Here are a few ideas you could start off with. Wash your face more often, maybe two-three times over the course of the day. Double cleanse your skin—once with an oil-based cleanser and then with a water-based one. Pack in a face mist, preferably one that contains antioxidants and hydrates your face regularly on-the-go. Never forget sunblock, but also use a scarf/a pair of sunglasses when you go out. Include a hydrating cleanser or a micellar water in your skincare routine—it removes dirt and grease without drying the skin. Once a week, use a scrub containing ultra-fine magnesium crystals with vitamin A and C that help to remove dead skin cells. A night cream is essential—a recovery cream that gives you antioxidant protection to fight against free radical damage is a good bet. Always look for products with antioxidants, whether its multi-vitamins, masques or serums. When in doubt, use aloe vera—it refreshes and rejuvenates the skin instantly. Drink lots of water and consume fruits with high water content like citrus fruits and watermelon, which make for a quick, refreshing snack. Peaceful, uninterrupted sleep is the best form of repair for your skin. Aim to clock in eight hours more often than not. What ingredients will help rejuvenate skin from pollution? “A good antioxidant-packed serum, mist or a night recovery cream could repair the damage to the skin. Look for a face wash which could cleanse the skin to de-grease it and de-clog pores while simultaneously also repairing the barrier of the skin. A good sunscreen is the one which protects against ultraviolet radiation and infrared radiation emitted from laptops and phones (look out for the broad-spectrum tag). A night cream containing retinol which can fight against the extrinsic ageing changes on the skin is important,” adds Dr Patel. Here’s our edit of products that will keep your skin looking fresh and fabulous all day long. 1 /8 Boscia Charcoal Jelly Ball Cleanser, Rs 1,310 Clarins UV PLUS Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Multi-Protection Tint SPF 50, Rs 4,745 Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask+Scrub, Rs 2,400 Dear Packer Lab Collection Mask - Anti-Pollution & Clearing, Rs 100 Kiehl's Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque, Rs 1,350 Organic Harvest Protection Pollution Defense Cream, Rs 1,495 REN Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist, Rs 2,110. 4 reasons why vitamin-infused water needs to be a part of a healthy lifestyle

YOU HAVE READ OF 10 STORIES THIS MONTH 30 day free access to digital issues worth INR 400 Get it now ! Next Everyone, from nutritionists and health experts to your mother, is always emphasising on how important vitamins and minerals are to the functioning of your body and how a lack of these can hamper your health. However, getting your five servings a day of fruits and vegetables isn’t always easy or convenient. Enter: vitamin-infused water. How exactly does this differ from your regular H2O? For starters, it comes with good-for-you vitamins that help rev up your body’s immune system. Plus, the refreshing flavour can actually get you to drink more, helping you get the hydration you need. Aquafina’s latest offering, the Vitamin Splash waters, fulfil all the criteria that make it a great part of your everyday diet, and the best part, each serving is only around 35 calories (300ml). We rounded up four reasons that will make you want to incorporate them into your lifestyle. 1) They make it easy to stay hydrated Vitamin waters help you reach your ideal daily water intake without it feeling like a chore or another goal. Vitamin Splash comes in two flavours—vitamin B-infused Kiwi Lime and the antioxidant-rich Raspberry Mint—which make it a more inviting option to drink as opposed to regular water. 2) They’re good for health There’s no debating that water is good for you, but these come with added benefits aka vitamins—you could be drinking these as a replacement to your everyday bottle and looking after your health without any additional effort. Vitamin Splash has about 22 per cent of the daily required vitamin intake and 70 per cent less sugar as compared to other vitamin-infused beverages as well. The added vitamins help boost immunity levels and repair the free radical damage most people on the move and with erratic lifestyles face. 3) They’re easy to carry around and convenient on-the-go While living a busy lifestyle makes it hard to stay healthy, upgrading your basic water bottle to one with infused vitamin makes it easy to consume, wherever you are, and keeps your health on track. 4) Not all essential vitamins can be found in all fruits and vegetables Including fruits and vegetables in your diet is very important, but it’s difficult to keep track of exactly how many nutrients you have consumed on a daily basis. Besides, some essentials, like vitamin B, cannot be found in any fruits and vegetables. Vitamin waters help you get a big dose of these nutrients as you hydrate yourself. Aquafina’s Vitamin Splash contains vitamins B3, B6, B 12, E, zinc and selenium which all help towards strengthening your body’s defence mechanism against infections. This Children’s Day, Delhi kids are fighting for their right to breathe

YOU HAVE READ OF 10 STORIES THIS MONTH 30 day free access to digital issues worth INR 400 Get it now ! Image: Shutterstock Despite widely publicised campaigns and bans on firecrackers this year, Delhi has yet again found itself in the midst of an air pollution crisis. The air quality was categorised as “severe plus” or “emergency” yesterday even as schools in the region reopened after staying closed for some days last week due to the rising toxicity in the air. This problem raises concerns on many levels. Not only does the pollution have an adverse effect on the residents’ respiratory system, vision and skin, it can also takes a severe toll on general health, especially when it comes to kids. As India geared up to celebrate Children’s Day today, schoolchildren across Delhi joined forces to lend their voice to the growing concern surrounding this issue. As part of the #MyRightToBreathe campaign, 100 young children from Delhi gathered today at the India Gate today to plead the government for cleaner air. Armed with masks and the national flag, the kids presented black roses to the government leaders as a symbolic gesture. The #MyRightToBreathe campaign, co-founded by Delhi-based Radhika Kapoor who set the ball rolling for green Diwali celebrations in the city, has found support in prominent Indian personalities such as Dia Mirza, Virat Kohli and Twinkle Khanna, and continues to gain momentum as people seek solutions to the escalating levels of air pollution in the national capital.

TripAdvisor will now flag hotels with reports of sexual assault and rape

TripAdvisor will now flag hotels with reports of sexual assault and rape Other travellers should be aware By Jennifer Read-Dominguez In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein investigations , travel website TripAdvisor has announced that it will now be flagging hotels where cases of sexual assault have been reported. The reviews platform has begun placing red warning badges on the pages of hotels where people have reported sexual assault, cautioning tourists about the accommodation and urging travellers to conduct further checks before booking. Customers who visit flagged pages will now see a small red banner stating: 'TripAdvisor has been made aware of recent media reports or events concerning this property which may not be reflected in reviews found on this listing. 'Accordingly, you may wish to perform additional research for information about this property when making your travel plans.' In a statement, a TripAdvisor spokesman said: "We have decided to introduce a new 'badge' notification that will be displayed on a business' listing page when an issue relating to that business is reported on by credible media sources, such as issues around health and safety or allegations of discrimination. "The aim of the badge is to alert travellers to issues they may want to more fully research outside of TripAdvisor. Development of the badge is complete." The new move comes after TripAdvisor was publicly criticised for deleting several reviews in which users reported being sexually assaulted at hotels in Mexico. One woman accused a security guard of raping her at a Mexican resort back in 2010, but when she wrote about what had happened, the post was rejected because it breached the website's 'family-friendly' guidelines. Since then, other women have come forward claiming to have been assaulted in the same place, telling TripAdvisor that had her review been published online, they may not have visited the resort in the first place. TripAdvisor has since apologised to the victim and reinstated the posts about her ordeal. "We apologise to the sexual assault victim, reported on in the article, who had her forum post removed seven years ago on TripAdvisor," the statement said. "We are horrified that this victim experienced this assault on her vacation in Mexico, and other travellers should be aware of this incident." We want to address statements made by a recent news article and since widely reported on. Our full statement: https://t.co/SNL0VDCQ8Z pic.twitter.com/idEpMoTKKk — TripAdvisor (@TripAdvisor) November 2, 2017 The new badges will remain on TripAdvisor for up to three months but if the issues persist it could extend the duration of the badge. However, hotel experts have warned that the badges could be hugely damaging to hotels who have false or unsubstantiated claims made against them. "Hotels will get worried about this if customers are giving them red flags with no grounds," HVS hotel expert Russell Kett told The Telegraph. "Libellous reports made against hotels could be very detrimental to businesses. If unsubstantiated allegations are made, TripAdvisor should remove the hotel in question from the website altogether. "If proof that an attack has happened comes to light then they could apply the red flag."

2017 is the year of celebrity couples getting back together

2017 is the year of celebrity couples getting back together Everything old is new again By Nikki Chowdury It seems like only yesterday we were collectively fawning over new 'It' couple of the moment, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd , as they exchanged cheek kisses at the Met Ball. Now, it's all a distant memory. But while we're on the topic of the past, here's another blast: Within days of the surprise breakup, Selena was seen frolicking and bike-riding in what appears to be complete and utter bliss with on-again, off-again ex-flame Justin Bieber. Seemingly, they are not alone. Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt are on. Again. Everytime you think Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have ended things, new images of them being all cute together surface on the internet. The dating rumours began right after their debut film, Student Of The Year, and never really died down. The couple hasn't officially accepted or denied their break-up rumours, but their recent PDA moments and co-ordinated party outfits definitely state they're back together. Alexa Chung and Alex Turner who are reportedly back on, six years after breaking up. Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham confirming they're dating again in a moody black and white Instagram post (naturally). A post shared by bb (@brooklynbeckham) on Nov 7, 2017 at 9:54am PST The phenomenon of getting back together with an ex is nothing new in celebritydom. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor's tumultuous relationship was the original poster child for ongoing relationship drama. Even the royals aren't immune— Kate Middleton and Prince William broke up for three months before reconciling and ultimately getting married. What once garnered multiple eye-rolls and pained sighs, the act of getting back together with your ex is suddenly very on point—in fact, it's downright celebrated. So what on earth is going on? Is our love of nostalgia permeating from fashion trends and TV shows into our actual love lives? Or is it that young people—despite what dating app executives will tell you—don't actually subscribe to the idea that everyone is, when it boils down to it, replaceable...as much as once thought? Whether this is just a series of coincidences or part of a larger shift in our attitudes towards relationships (surprisingly, although it is more acceptable to do so, divorce rates among millennials are actually going down) is still up for debate. If anything, two old flames reuniting when they work in an industry filled with attractive, wealthy and charismatic people (where stars tend to move on very fast ) is pretty endearing, and dare we say it...romantic. One thing's for sure...everything old is new again—and apparently, that includes your ex.
