Houlihan, Huddle, and Centrowitz Win National Titles

By Derek Call Jun 25, 2018 The 2018 USATF Track & Field Championships didn’t have many fresh faces breaking the tape, but there was still plenty of excitement. Molly Huddle, the American-record holder in the 10,000 meters , continued her dominance in the event, winning in 31:52. Huddle led the entire race, holding off Marielle Hall in the final 200 meters. The victory is her fourth straight in the 10K and ups her total number of U.S. national championships to 27. Houlihan won the 1500 meters in 4:05.48, upsetting Jenny Simpson, who had won four straight titles in the event. She really hit the jets!
