China's space station is falling back to Earth - Unexplained Mysteries

"Shooting down" doesn't work in orbit. A missile would destroy the Tiangong-1, causing it to fragment. The fragments wouldn't just drop from the sky, they would continue to orbit in more or less the same path that the station did. These fragments would slowly dissipate, filling the orbital plane of the station. Whilst these smaller fragments would, potentially, reduce the risk on the ground (which, incidentally, is negligible) it would be a total menace. Because the fragments are smaller than the Tiangong-1, they will generate less drag with the tenuous atmosphere at orbital altitude, so they w... [More]

Yup. Well, pretty darned close as far as they can tell anyway, (it's been experimentally proven to within about 1%). GR states that gravity "propagates" at the speed of light and it's probably right.

Anonymous - This is Like Nothing We Have Seen Before!

There's been a lot in the news lately; From threats of war to future space endeavors. Two very different ends of the spectrum with vastly different consequences for humanity. While politicians bicker over power plays by opposing nations here on Earth, we continue to face many threats from beyond this world. The unfortunate truth is that while our generation may survive the next 100 years... It's only a matter of time till humanity as a whole faces catastrophe on a global scale. We occupy one tiny world, around a single star out of billions, in a single galaxy out of trillions in the observable universe. That alone shows how fragile our species really is. Embed Code:

When super-massive objects spiral in toward each other at increasing speed, they distort space-time in a cyclical manner, creating gravitational waves. This was predicted by Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity, and has since been confirmed by observation. The distance between objects throughout space, is very slightly changed in a rhythmic manner. Measuring these changes in distance enables the detection of gravitational waves.

$5 Million Ranch for Sale in Arizona is Alleged Alien Hotspot

Google+ The realtor listing for the Stardust Ranch in Buckeye, Arizona might at first appear to be your run-of-the-mill $5 million, 10-acre ranch, but in reality the place may be one of the world’s most active sites of alien visitation and paranormal happenings. According to owners John and Joyce Edmonds, the weirdness began right when they moved in as they found all of the previous owner’s possessions at the bottom of their swimming pool. Shortly after, a machete-wielding man reportedly showed up to welcome them – and let them know that he was in charge of keeping the monsters away. What monsters, you ask? Why, aliens, of course. What else? John Edmonds moved onto the ranch in 1997. That’s when things got weird. The Stardust Ranch is no stranger to press coverage about the high strangeness that allegedly occurs frequently on the property. The ranch has been featured on the Travel Channel and pops up from time to time in the weird news blogosphere. The ranch’s owner, John Edmonds, claims that there are two interdimensional portals on the grounds through which alien beings frequently travel. Edmonds reportedly keeps a samurai sword above his fireplace to fend off these interdimensional beings and claims he has slain 18 of them himself. The couple says they frequently find unexplained bruises and syringe marks on their bodies, believing them to be the work of aliens who regularly abduct them for experimentation. Animals have been also allegedly found mutilated on the property. What is it with aliens and the desert? The ranch has been listed on Realtor.com and requires buyers to sign an affidavit acknowledging that while the Edmonds make all sorts of claims about the property’s frequent guests, there is no guarantee of having an alien encounter – or avoiding one, either. The ranch’s listing agent Kimberly Gero seems to take delight in the Edmonds’ claims while also hinting that they should be taken with a grain of salt: This property’s not going to be for the faint of heart. It’s going to be for someone who has a true interest in the paranormal and aliens and isn’t afraid to live with them. And it wouldn’t hurt if they had an interest in horses, too. Buy at your own risk. If it happens, it happens—but if it doesn’t, it’s not on [the Edmonds]. But I don’t think you’re going to find another property quite like this one. That’s for sure: it’s got 10 acres, 3,500 square feet, a pool, RV hookups, five bedrooms, and four baths – for only $5 million! Who cares about alien abductors stabbing you with needles in the night? As long as they wipe their feet and don’t track any of that pesky Arizona dust all over the place, they’re fine in my book. Mad musician terrorises London in Ripper-esque Hangover Square (1945) REVIEW

Hangover Square RELEASED: 7th February 1945 (George Harvey Bone), Linda Darnell (Netta Longdon), George Sanders (Dr. Allan Middleton), Faye Marlowe (Barbara Chapman) Patrick Hamilton) As the 20th century begins, a London shopkeeper is murdered and his store is set on fire. The culprit is one George Harvey Bone, a composer of some note. Afterwards, George has no recollection of what has just taken place. He is prone to lapses of memory triggered by dissonant sounds… On reading of the murder in the newspapers, George is concerned that he may have been responsible, but a New Scotland Yard doctor assures him that he is not. None of this helps George’s mental state, however. Matters worsen as he becomes obsessed with music hall singer Netta, who sees in George a source of songs and strings him along emotionally. Tugged from the opposite direction by his actual girlfriend Barbara, not to mention her father Lord Henry, who is eager for George to complete his piano concerto, it may only be a matter of time before George is pushed over the edge and commits murder again… Following the success of The Lodger (1944), 20th Century-Fox were keen to reassemble most of the same team for what would be a very free adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s 1941 novel. The screenplay came from Barré Lyndon, best known amongst horror fans for The Man In Half Moon Street, made by Paramount in 1944, then remade by Hammer as The Man Who Could Cheat Death (1959). Essentially Ripper-ising the source to create the follow-up the studio were after, Lyndon jettisoned much of Hamilton’s black comedy and the contemporary setting, moving the action back to the beginning of the century. George Harvey Bone changed from a borderline alcoholic to a mentally disturbed composer/performer, and the story was transformed from a dark snapshot of London just before World War II to a period chiller, perhaps more akin to Hamilton’s celebrated stage play Gas Light. Linda Darnell and Laird Cregar in a studio publicity shot for Hangover Square. The standing sets from the Fox backlot proved very effective as a stand-in London. Usually called upon for the studio’s more typical musical output of the period, it’s disconcerting to see this familiar scenery in such a dark context, with a heavy layer of film-noir style thanks to the work of director John Brahm and master cinematographer Joseph LaShelle. Providing the film’s musical core is a score by Bernard Herrman which can be considered one of his finest, and in a career as illustrious as Herrman’s that’s no small compliment. Its centrepiece is a Liszt-influenced concerto movement which provides the soundtrack of the picture’s fiery climax. Indeed, the film’s Spanish title, Concierto Macabro was probably much better suited. Laird Cregar arguably topped his dynamic performance in The Lodger this time around. In what must be one of cinema’s most extreme cases of the artist suffering for their art, Cregar put himself through a punishing regime of weight loss for the part, assisted by the heavy use of amphetamines, which also affected his moods and made him very difficult to work with. It would all ultimately prove too much for Cregar, who tragically died from a heart attack two months before the film was released, aged just 31. Musical dissonance takes its toll on George (Laird Cregar) in Hangover Square. As an adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s novel, Hangover Square might be considered something of a failure. As a film in its own right, and a fine example of 20th Century-Fox’s very slender contribution to golden-age screen horror, it’s an absolute corker. As a testament to a talent taken all too soon, it’s priceless. TRIVIA NOTE: At the time of his death, Laird Cregar was earmarked for the role of Nicholas Van Ryn in Dragonwyck (1946). The part was ultimately played by his close friend Vincent Price, who would read the eulogy at Cregar’s funeral. Since the part might be considered an important landmark in shaping Price’s screen persona going forwards, it’s fascinating to ponder on how the careers of both actors might have panned out, had Cregar lived and taken the role. 4 Las Vegas Shooting Key Witnesses Are Now Dead Or Missing! Major Cover-up?

« Previous - Next » 4 Las Vegas Shooting Key Witnesses Are Now Dead Or Missing! Major Cover-up? One of the key witnesses to the devastating Las Vegas shooting attack which left fifty-eight people dead and more than five hundred wounded has been found dead in her home at the age of twenty-eight. The cause of her death has yet to be confirmed. Key witness to the Las Vegas shooting found dead at home Kymberley Suchomel was one of the lucky ones at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino who managed to escape the hail of bullets without being injured. Shortly after escaping the scene, she made a statement to the media claiming that there were multiple gunmen firing weapons into the crowd and that she was chased by one such man. When she was questioned on the veracity of her story, given the official story that there was only one gunman, she said that she was more than 100% sure that she was right. Related Articles ISIS claims they were behind the Las Vegas mass shooting Why is the mainstream media NOT reporting this? Kymberley gave a very detailed account of what she had seen in the days following the horrific event in which she questioned the official story being propagated by the mainstream media. She said that she had been watching the news with her family constantly since she had arrived home and that she did not believe that the official version of events made sense. In addition to claiming that there were multiple gunmen at the scene, she also claimed that towards the beginning of the evening that a woman made her way onto the stage and warned the crowd that they were going to die. She and her boyfriend were later escorted from the premises. She also said that she had spoken to other survivors who had also mentioned that there were multiple shooters on that fateful night, including one on the ground. According to Kymberley’s grandmother, Julie Norton, she died in the early hours of Monday morning at her home. Norton discovered her granddaughter’s body just after 8.30 in the morning when she arrived to take care of her great-granddaughter, Scarlett. Norton said that she believed that Kymberley died in her sleep after her husband left for work. Norton attributed her death directly to the stress associated with the shooting. Before she died, Kymberley said that while she was not injured in the devastating attack that she believed that she was going to be ‘emotionally and mentally scarred for life.' Major Cover-up: Kymberley is not the only key witness to have died since the Las Vegas shooting In a sinister turn of events, it has emerged that Kymberley is not the only key witness to have died since the Las Vegas shooting. 1) John Beilman, who was wanted by federal agents following the discovery of a communications device in the hotel room of the officially identified shooter Stephen Paddock, killed both himself and his disabled daughter in an apparent murder- suicide . 2) In addition to that, a valet worker named Chad Nishimura who parked Paddock’s car has also disappeared after giving a statement to local news networks about his brush with the killer. 3) It has also been revealed that a security guard called Jesus Campos who was hailed as a hero on the night of the shooting has also gone missing. Whether this series of disturbing deaths and disappearances are purely coincidental or whether there is something deeply sinister afoot has yet to be determined. Related Articles

Mathematical Proof of SECOND Shooter During Las Vegas Attack

Mathematical Proof of SECOND Shooter During Las Vegas Attack The sheriff of Las Vegas said there is no conspiracy by officials to try to deceive members of the public about the mass shooting. T he words were said at a press conference, and he made the cold declaration that the conference would be more informational than it would be a question and answer. This was because some media journalists have asked some questions that are tough. Self-Described Scientist Explains Second Shooter Evidence Whether or not you believe what the official investigation has been rigged and the public is being deceived, there is a lot of evidence from the crime scene that anyone can analyze if they choose to do so. This is exactly what one man has done in a video that has now gone viral on YouTube . The self-described scientist took a look at the evidence and what he found is concerning as Mike Adams says that if the FBI is watching he is giving the location of a second shooter at the Las Vegas murders away. Related Articles Art Bell is supposedly in a Las Vegas hospital suffering from a bout of Pneumonia Essentially Adams is saying what many people have suggested, that the shooting in Las Vegas could not have been done by one man alone. The video then goes on to show a mathematically precise theory that is scientifically sound, on just why he thinks that there was another shooter that fired shots into the crowd at the concert in Las Vegas. Forensic Acoustic Analysis Reveals Second Las Vegas Shooter Adams said that all it needs is forensic acoustic analysis and Mike took many hours to compile videos that had been captured from the scene of the shooting on October 1. He then took audio files from the videos and then focused on segments where machine gun fire could be heard that was said to have come from the gun fired by Stephen Paddock. Adams then goes on in great detail to explain why he thinks there was a second shooter at Las Vegas on that day. In the video, he points out that there is a difference in speed of sound and the speed of the bullets from a cartridge, which in this instance was a.233 Remington. Adams said that the time lag between the last of the bullets hitting the pavement and last sound of the rifle muzzle could be used to calculate the range of the shooter. He said that if you take a look at the shooting the audio reveals that there were two people shooting at the same time and not just one. Shots Fired From Different Locations Adams goes on to suggest that the first shooter is 425 to 475 yards away and this would make that person in the region of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The second shooter is 250 to 270 yards away, much closer than the hotel. As bullets travel faster than the speed of sound, they hit before the gun sound is even heard. If you compare the lag in time between the bullet hitting the ground and the gunshot sounds that come from the window of the Mandalay Bay Hotel you are then able to determine the range of the shooter. He said that following analyzation of the many audio files that had been taken at the scene of the shooting he had found that acoustic signatures revealed that there were at least two shooters at different ranges who had fired weapons that night. So the question remains as to whether there is a cover-up about the Las Vegas shooting or if the people in charge do not have as good a brain as Mike Adams as they have not figured this out yet.

First Ever Images of Weird PLASMA TUBES Floating Over Earth

First Ever Images of Weird PLASMA TUBES Floating Over Earth Cleo Loi, a student in Australia , used a radio telescope in 3D that allowed astronomers to detect the existence of plasma structures that were tubular in the inner layers of the magnetosphere that surrounds the Earth. Loi said that for more than 60 years scientists have thought that the structures were in existence, but now by imaging them they had provided evidence in a visual form that they are out there. Video Of Plasma Tubes As They Float Over Earth Seen For The First Time The Murchison Widefield Array Took Rapid Snapshots of Plasma Loi is from the ARC Centre of Excellence for All-sky Astrophysics at the University of Sydney, and she is the lead author of the research that was taken as part of her undergraduate thesis, which has now been published. Lou identified structures by way of the Murchison Widefield Array, and this is a radio telescope situated in the Western Australian desert. She made use of the rapid snapshot capabilities to make a movie, and this captured the plasma movements in real time and mapped large patches of the sky. Loi said that the discovery of the structures is important because they cause signal distortions that are not wanted and which might as one example affect the civilian along with military satellite -based navigation systems. Loi went on to say that it was important to understand them and said that their position had been measured and it was around 600 km from the ground, and they were in the upper ionosphere and seemed to be going upwards into the plasmasphere. Loi continued to say that it was where the neutral atmosphere ended and the transition into the plasma of outer space starts. Ionization Of Earth’s Atmosphere Makes Multi-Layered Plasma Environment In the journal, it went on to say that the ionization of the atmosphere of the Earth by sunlight can form a multi-layered plasma environment that is complex in the magnetosphere of Earth. It is thought that the plasmasphere has cylindrical density structures embedded in it that align to the magnetic field of the Earth, but evidence has been somewhat scarce. This is the first report of observation that is the direct wide angle of the extensive array of ducts that are field aligned that bridge the upper ionosphere and the inner plasmasphere by using a ground-based imaging technique. It goes on to say that the motions and heights were established thanks to feature tracking along with parallax analysis. The structures were said to be organized, and they appeared as being regularly spaced, tubes that alternate of over densities and under densities that are strongly aligned with the magnetic field of the Earth. Loi said that the findings represent the first ever direct visual evidence of the existence of the structures. Loi has now been given the 205 Bok Prize by the Astronomical Society of Australia.

Does St Mark’s Eve rival Halloween as the spookiest day of the year?

Submit an article to Spooky Isles Does St Mark’s Eve rival Halloween as the spookiest day of the year? We need new writers! Please contact us if you would like to submit an article for Spooky Isles. K.B. GODDARD tells of St Mark’s Eve, when the souls of the living leave their bodies and tell the future! We are accustomed to thinking of Halloween as the time of year when the spirits walk among us and the supernatural holds sway. However, it is a question as to whether St. Mark’s eve (April the 24th) has not a better claim to be the spookiest night of the year than has the eve of All Saints. What, you may wonder, is so spooky about this particular spring evening. If Halloween is the night when the souls of the dead go wandering, then St. Mark’s eve is the night when the souls of the living were held to be quite active, presumably leaving their bodies untenanted. One such custom was that should an unmarried woman hang her shift up to dry before the fire overnight and keep watch over it, the vision or spirit of her future husband would appear and turn the garment over. Because nothing says true love like leaving your body in the middle of the night to ensure your intendeds underwear dries evenly. Divination seems to play a big part in the observance of St. Mark’s eve and there are various husband-identifying rituals associated with the date. Another form of divination practised in the home is of a less optimistic nature. The practice of “riddling the ashes” involved spreading out all of the ashes from the fire on the hearthstone before retiring to bed. In the morning if there was found the footprint of any member of the household it meant they were to die within the next 12 months. Not content to know who they were to marry or who in their family was due to pass away, there was a further custom of deathly divination. It was believed that if you held a vigil in the church porch on the eve of St. Mark’s you would see something truly awful and remarkable. It is said you would witness a ghostly procession of all the people in the village who were destined to die within the coming year making their way into the church in their winding sheets, apparently for a kind of funeral rehearsal. One such story tells of two men in Burton in Lincolnshire who supposedly tried this form of divination. Sure enough, they saw first three of their neighbours, a fourth, who was an infant, and a fifth, an elderly man, known to neither of them. In the following months, in the order in which their spirits had entered the church, the three neighbours passed away. A woman of the town gave birth to a child who soon after died. There remained only the fifth unknown man. Then one day, during a bitterly cold January, there arrived in the town a foot messenger with letters for a local gentleman. This messenger had travelled a great distance, crossing the Derbyshire hills from Cheshire, and was nearly perished with cold. They recognised in the man the figure of the fifth apparition. A few days later the man died. The eerie custom is summed up in the following extract from the poem by James Montgomery: “Tis now replied the village Belle, St Mark’s mysterious Eve And all that old traditions tell I tremblingly believe:- How when the midnight signal tolls Along the churchyard green A mournful train of sentenced souls In winding sheets are seen The ghosts of all whom Death shall doom Within the coming year In pale procession walk the gloom Amid the silence drear” K.B. GODDARD is a Derbyshire-based writer specialising in Victorian style ghost stories. She has published two short story collections so far and has plans for a third.
