'There is no need for God' Dan Brown predicts a new scientific 'global consciousness'
Religion has been around for thousands of years with many different kinds of religious beliefs scattered around the world.

At the Frankfurt Book Fair, Mr. Brown said: "Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all share a gospel, loosely, and it's important that we all realise that. Our religions are much more similar than they are different. We will start to find our spiritual experiences through our interconnections with each other. Our need for that exterior god, that sits up there and judges us ... will diminish and eventually disappear."
He goes on an predicts the emergence of ... "some form of global consciousness that we perceive and that becomes our divine".
Most of these religions share common principles and the most common thing about all religions is the existence of a superior being that judges mortals and is the all-knowing creator of the universe.
Religion has brought upon the world great and terrible wars, but some have practiced it for good and have tried to spread peace.

But religion is becoming obsolete as we enter the most prominent age of science in centuries, the digital age. The digital age governs over humanity as time progresses and renowned author Dan Brown points out several things regarding the future of religion and computers.
He believes that traditional religion will disappear and that God will be replaced by an artificial intelligence , a new religion created by machines.
Will all religion disappear in the future?
