A huge blimp in the shape of a baby with the face of US President Donald Trump may float above the city as a protest action during his visit to London next week. London's mayor Sadiq Khan gave the green light, the organizers of the action announced on Thursday. Trump will meet Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth II on Friday 13 July.
The six-meter orange Trump baby blimp will float at a height of 30 meters during the visit between 9.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. local time not far from the parliament building. "The mayor supports the right to peaceful protests and understands that they can take many different forms," a spokesman said. In the past, Khan had had several word fights with Trump via Twitter.
Initially, the Trump baby had not been recognized as a serious protest, activist Leo Murray told Sky News. "But thanks to great public support for our plan, the mayor's office seems to have rediscovered its sense of humor," Murray said. READ NEXT
