Suzuki GSX S750 launch will give them a very potent rival in the mid-capacity segment…
Suzuki now intends to strengthen its presence in the mid-capacity segment and has unveiled the beautiful naked GSX S750 at the recent Auto Expo in Noida. It will mark Suzuki’s presence in the sub 1000cc segment.
GSX S750 will be locally assembled (via CKD kits), just like Hayabusa. This roadster gets an aggressive stance with muscular lines and compact posture. It is powered by a 4-stroke, liquid cooled, 4-cylinder DOHC, 749 cc engine which produces about 114 PS of peak power at 10,500 rpm and 81 Nm of max torque at 9000 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox performs transmission duties.
It is equipped with ABS as standard, inverted telescopic shock absorbers, three riding modes, full-digital instrumentation and weighs about 211 kgs. 310 mm twin petal disc brakes perform braking duties, further aided by a single rear disc. It comes shod with 120 mm and 180 mm wide front and rear tyres respectively – both 17 inchers!
The display model wore Suzuki’s Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black livery and there was the other Pearl Mira Red motorcycle also showcased in one corner. It probably means that Suzuki will offer both the colours in India. Suzuki GSX S750 Launch
GSX S750 will be launched in India soon, most probably by mid-2018, and it will rival Ducati Monster, Triumph Street Triple and Kawasaki Z900, along with Yamaha MT-09. Hayabusa is very aggressively priced and we hope the S750 also gets a similar treatment.
Apart from this, fresh rumours of Gixxer 250 have erupted along with new render pics – you can view them here . RELATED STUFF
