Odisha: Patnaik announces relief for affected families Odisha: Patnaik announces relief for affected families Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced relief measures for families affected by cyclone Titli.
Patnaik announced that affected families of Ganjam, Gajapati, and Gunupur sub-division of Rayagada district will be given relief for 15 days.
Earlier in the day, Odisha chief minister conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, and Rayagada.
On Friday, Patnaik had also constituted a three-member Ministerial Committee, including Revenue and Disaster Management Minister, Water Resources Minister and Energy Minister to monitor relief, rescue and restoration work in cyclone-affected districts.
The Cyclone Titli made landfall at Odisha's Gopalpur on Thursday morning.
